Scholarships:
          Two types of Scholarships offered to the students for their needs.
(1) Government Scholarship.
(2) Management Scholarship.
 
(1) Government Scholarship
          The College helps to the students to receive scholarships from the following government bodies as per the Government norms. Based on sincere effort to help the students, our college received the highest amount of Rs. 22,91,386/- and distributed the scholarships to 867 students for the academic year 2011-2012.

         Free Education to the first generation students belonging to backward classes up to UG Degree. Income limit below Rs. 50,000/- per year.
         Shri. Sultan Chand Memorial Scholarship.
         Kamaraj Trust Scholarships.
         E.V.R. Nagammai Free Educational scholarship.
         For details with regard to Scholarship all undergraduate and postgraduate students are directed to contact the Office.
 
(2) Management Scholarship
         Our College Management, Philanthropists and well-wishers contributed generously to facilitate the economically backward and academically proficient students. Rs.6,00,000/- was disbursed to about 1000 students, one third of the total student strength towards scholarships, Medals, Prizes, Books and Certificates etc., in the academic year 2011-2012.
          The selection of the students is from the following categories:
  • Students come from economically backward sections.
  • Meritorious students.
  • Achievers of co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
  • Separate scholarship for Hostel students.
          scholarships are given to the students every year at the time of College Day Celebrations.
 
     
   SWCC  
 

AIM:
           The Student's Welfare & Counseling Centre (SWCC) is established in the college with the view for bring out the hidden talents of the students. It also aims at developing the Personality, Communication skills, Competitive Aptitude skills, Cultural skills and to place the students on a higher Creative Pedestal. 

ACTIVITIES UNDER SWCC:
           The SWCC gives ample scope, opportunities and facilities for the all-round development of personality and leadership qualities of the students. It conducts various programmes such as:

  4. IAS / IPS Coaching
  5. Coaching for TOEFL, IELTS, BEC and GRE

  1. Awareness Programs in Personality development
  2. Reverse glass painting and Tanjore Art
  3. Training and obtaining Driving license for Two and Four Wheelers
  4. Motivating the students to participate in Inter College Competitions, Training on Public Speaking and Group Discussion
  5. Conducting Yoga Classes
  6. Cultivation Of Hobbies

          The SWCC identifies the capabilities of students in different areas and motivate them to escalate their current level of professionalism.
