Thiru.V.K.Lakshmanan, President of the College Council is one of the Co-Founders of the College and has actively associated himself in the growth and development of the College since its inception.
      A true Gandhian by conviction and outlook, he tirelessly propagated the values of  Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Vivekananda which embodied his life’s mission and vision.
      His contribution spans a wide spectrum ranging from being an active legislator, a dedicated public servant, a co-founder of the Kongunadu Arts and Science College and a doyen of the Co-operative Movement.
      Thiru.V.K.Lakshmanan has held important offices in the Congress Party and has served as its Member in the Legislative Assembly for 3 consecutive terms.  He is a senior Congress Leader who has actively shaped the policies of the Congress
