Orientation Programme
Library Orientation Programme for all the first year UG & PG Students (Half a day training programme for each Class) have been conducted by the Library & Information Centre Dr. R. Senthil Kumar Librarian (SG) was organized from 15.09.2010 to 30.09.2010.

Book Exhibitions
The Following books exhibitions have been conducted by the Library & Information centre in collaboration with.
(i) Pai & Sons from 13.09.2010 to 15.09.2010 (Three Days)
(ii) Kilakku Padhippagam from 27.09.2010 to 29.09.2010 (Three Days)
(iii) New Century Book House from 20.12.2010 to 23.12.2010 (Four Days)
(iv) New Century Book House from 20.09.2011 to 23.09.2011 (Four Days)
(v) Mobile Bookshop from 02.02.2012 to 03.02.2012 (Two Days)
Un-Announced Test
Library Resourse Awareness Test (Unannounced Test) have been conducted by the Library & Information Centre (To motivate the students to use the library and information centre) for randomlt selected classes and three prizes were distributed for the winners of each and every class from 10.03.2011 to 17.03.2011.
Seven Students (one student from I UG, one student from II UG, one student from III UG, one student from I PG, one student from II PG, one student from one among the M.Phil Scholar, one among Ph.D Scholar) were selected and distributed the cash award with certificate as the best library users in this academic year 2010-2011.

Supplying Bar-coded Identity Card (Digital photographing, typing, printing, bar-coding, laminating) for all the students, scholars, non-teaching staff and teaching staff).

Formation of Digital Library.
Digital photograph for all of the users.
Providing the important information like current news, GK, Dollar, Euro, Sterling pound current rates, humidity and temperature information providing, the scrolling facility of New arrivals & flash news in the computer, collecting & preserving the college & library news appearing in the leading dailies, collecting, preserving and disseminating the different field news, online dictionary, encyclopedia & digital clippings etc.,
Effective utilization of Digital content through Mini Theatre formation in the Library & Information Centre premises.

Awarding the Library Best User Award to the students of I, II, III UG & I, II PG based on their utility of the Library & Information Centre every year during the college day celebrations.
Paper presented and published periodically by the Library staff in various conferences, seminars & peer reviewed Journals etc.,
