THE DEPARTMENT OF BUSINESS MANAGEMENT
The Department of Business Management was established in the year 1997. The Department moulds the students to face the global competences in the changing business environment. Our Department mainly focuses on enlightening the students by updating them with the knowledge of latest industrial and market developments.
The Department enables the students to develop their career by motivating them to participate in various inter-collegiate competitions. The Department has also conducted several seminars and conferences. It has organized a number of workshops and Personality Development programmes for the budding managers of today. The department was instrumental in introducing job-oriented courses, certificate courses and innovative courses like BBM(Computer applications).BBM(CA) Deparment was established in the year 2002 and it functioned independently from 2004 onwards. Both the Deparments paved attention on Personal counseling to the students who seek special concentration in various thrust areas of the business.The major objective of the Department is to achieve 100% results and placements for the students.
The newsletter SYNERGY has been published continuously since the establishment of the deparment till now. The magazine highlights on students' achievements, soft skills in different areas and department activities.
The deparment holds 7 faculties with MPhil and 4 MBA degree. Few sessions is conducted using power point presentation through LCD projector. Each concept is illustrated in detail with real time data, picture and graphs. These enhance the understanding on the part of the students. The department has a laptop apart from a computer for easy accessibility of the staff members. Students handle their project presentations with the aid of LCD projector in the air-conditioned conference hall of the college.

ACHIEVEMENTS
Students have shown their talents in various activities since the establishment of the departments and have brought laurels. They have also participated and won prize in sports held at various colleges under Bharathiar University. They have shown their talents in various inter collegiate competitions. They have shown their participation in YRC, NSS, and NCC activities also.
AUDITORIUM
The very spacious Kongunadu Auditorium (9782 sq.ft) which is completely furnished with radial light is the venue of international and national Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and College Day functions & Meetings etc. It accommodates 1200 seats and wears an elegant look.

ALUMNI
Once in a year, Alumni meet is organized to have a get-together of old students and to know their present status. They are asked to share their experiences with the present students and this helps the present youth to strengthen their vision and keep their targets focused. Many students of this department are in U.S.A, U.K., Australia, Japan and European countries either in jobs or pursuing higher studies. The department takes pride in saying that we have created many Lawyers, Chartered Accountants, Finance Executives, Marketing Executives apart from leading entrepreneurs.
