The senior NSS Programme Officer Dr. M. Lekeshmananswamy was awarded the State Level Best NSS Programme Officer Award for the year 2008-2009 by Government of Tamilnadu. In the presence of the Honorable Minister for Environment, Sports and Youth Welfare, Mr. T.P. Mohideen Khan presented the award in a gathering at Chennai.
